Saraswati Puja 2024: Basant Panchami is the most auspicious day for all the knowledge seekers

The auspicious Hindu festival Basant Panchami or Saraswati Puja is being celebrated today across India.

Goddess Saraswati is the Devi of Knowledge, Music, and Art. Saraswati Puja is been celebrated across India on the first day of spring which indicates happiness and love.

Today in India especially students and teachers and the people who are associated with art and any kind of any kind form of culture especially knowledge seekers. It's believed that worshiping to goddess Saraswati and praying to Goddess Saraswati with devotion help to enrich the path of knowledge.

Rituals of Saraswati Puja.

On this day the knowledge seekers and the worshiper after getting up early and taking a bath by rubbing turmeric on their bodies wear yellow and red colour Punjabi, kurta, or saree and worship goddess Saraswati.

Important things for the pooja.

The most important thing for the Saraswati Puja is marigolds, white sandalwood, and yellow and red Gulal to make rangoli, a paste of rice, and yellow colour sweets. On this auspicious day, people worship maa Saraswati by lighting an oil lamp, candle in front of the idol and chanting mantra along with putting art instruments like books, copy pen, paintbrush, and musical instruments like guitar, Harmonium to get the blessings to excel in their path of knowledge.
